Parenting Program

Earn While You Learn (EWYL) is an educational program offered at the Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic. This program is open to patients and members of the community who are pregnant and/or parenting babies, and who desire to learn and implement steps for a healthy pregnancy as well as gain parenting skills.

EWYL covers a wide variety of topics depending on the clients’ needs including:

  • Pregnancy & Childbirth
  • Nutrition
  • Goal-setting
  • Child Development
  • Parenting Skills
  • Disciplining Children
  • Finding Daycare
  • Relationship-Building

While the program prepares women and couples to be parents, EWYL also provides participants with opportunities to earn points that can be spent in the Baby & Me Shoppe at the Clinic. The Shoppe offers many of the necessities for the baby such as diapers, clothing, and even baby furniture.
